Bhutan – Trek to Laya - October 23 to 31, 2002

Damji led on to Gasa, and we started early in the morning.  It was 15km to Gasa, the little white speck in the photo above.

And finally Gasa Hot Springs!.

The Hot Springs are used by many people, almost all Bhutanese.  With a hot, sulpher-like smell, the baths are also supposed to be good for nasal congestion as well as a wonderful rest and relax time.  Little did we realize that we would stay here on our return from Laya!
