The battledore vendors were everywhere..

We arrived back in Tokyo and stayed in the Shigetsu Ryoken shigetsu.com again.  The festival- which happens during the full moon at the end of December – is a celebration where vendors sell battledores, wooden paddles used in a game, but really just decorative.

People were everywhere, and the vendors were doing a landoffice business selling incense, food and battledores.  We will  miss Japan, and especially Asakusa, since it has been a good spot to stay in Tokyo..
